DDR pays off: Nanya alone among Taiwan DRAM makers escapes losses

A head start in DDR production seems to have paid off for Nanya Technology, which reported net profits of NT$799 million for the first three quarters of 2002, while its five Taiwanese competitors yielded a combined net loss of NT$16 billion.
