VIS starts last batch of DRAM, aims to be pure-play foundry

Vanguard International Semiconductor (VIS) started its last batch of DRAM production at the end of last month, Paul Chien, company chairman and president, said after the company posted second-quarter sales of NT$4.2 billion.
