Waves after waves of connected IoT (Internet of Things) devices have emerged in recent CES shows. Through the wireless connectivity built into them, these smart devices usher in an ever-increasingly interactive, connected life style which promises more awareness, convenience, and well-being. Fitness bands, Smart Wearables, Connected Cameras, and Connected Home Appliances are all changing how we manage the environments around us. Fueled by Social Media and Big Data technologies, countless new and disruptive business models are being created every day which will forever change every aspect of our lives in this Internet Age.
Since 2000, Jorjin Technololgies pride ourselves in providing the best-in-class connectivity modules to smart IoT device designers worldwide. Today we announce the new ZB7XXX and WG14XX IoT module series. Based on Texas Instrument newest SimpleLink ultra-low power SoCs, Jorjin's ZB7XXX and WG14XX series provide the ideal solution for designing a wide range of IoT devices.
Jorjin's ZB7xxx module line are based on TI's CC26XX devices, and they support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and IEEE 802.15.4 RF standards. Designers can choose ZB7410-00 for BLE design with common BLE profiles, and ZB7320 for IEEE 802.15.4 with embedded ZigBee/6LoWPAN stacks. For applications that require additional memory space, ZB7500-04 provides designers with an additional embedded 4Mb FLASH storage to simplify your board design and BOM. All three models are pin-compatible, so designers can develop a unified board design and generate three products that comply with popular IoT connectivity standards.
For applications that require stand-alone out-of-box WiFi and IP connectivity, Jorjin's WG1400 WiFi solution is a robust solution based on TI's CC3100 transceivers. WG1400 requires no RTOS or TCP/IP stack integration on your host MCU, making the wireless integration much more straight-forward and resulting performance more predictable. WG1400's evaluation boards also come in popular Arduino form factor for MCU platforms such as Freescale Kinetis, STMicros M0/M3/M4, and NXP.
Product Advantages: (1) Comprehensive design support, including robust, royalty-free software stack, over-the-air (OTA) update capability, wiki guides, reference designs, low-cost development tools; (2) Ultra-low power Flash makes possible multi-year battery life out of a coin cell battery; Ideal for battery-operated sensors, or mesh nodes with energy-harvesting support; (3) Easy IP and cloud connectivity (through 6LoWPAN stack) via which each device takes up an routable IPv6 address; (4) No-compromise, industrial-grade reliability: guarantee to work across -40 degree C ~ 85 degree C; (5) All modules are pre-certified for FCC/IC/CE/NCC, greatly minimizing your RF matching & designing workload. Jorjin's modules also significantly improve your chance of first-pass success and manufacturability; (6) Pin Compatibility for a highly cost-effective design to address different market needs.
