PDP System started with OEM services for critical computer components such as DRAM, and launched its own brand Patriot Memory in 2003. With extensive experience in OEM services, it quickly became a major DRAM brand. Patriot Memory has focused on computer memory products and launched product lines including memory cards, flash drives, and solid-state drives, and leveraged its brand advantages and steadfast channel development to expand in the global consumer market. Patriot Memory noted the rise and potential of esports and founded the subsidiary brand Viper Gaming in 2007. It is positioned as a new brand for esports products (esports keyboard, mouse, headphones, etc.) and high-end products (memory, SSD, and flash memory). Viper Gaming features a unique snake-head logo that is easily identifiable and set out to create new possibilities in the esports world.
As most advanced semiconductors industries, supply chains, and import/export of raw materials are located in Taiwan, the Company selected Taipei for its Asia Pacific regional office in 2004. In addition to expanding business operations in Asia Pacific, its most important task is to transfer production lines to Asia Pacific where labor costs are lower.
Taiwan is small but densely populated with more centralized sales and distribution channels. Patriot Memory signed an official contract with Starjade Trading Co., Ltd. this year. It will be responsible for the sales of all Patriot Memory products, increasing brand recognition in Taiwan through physical channels, and providing customer services. Memory products: The all-new Viper Steel RGB DDR4 memory product is equipped with aluminum heat shield and a matte sandblasted finish. The gold Viper Gaming logo makes it very attractive even when the lights off. RGB collaborates directly with products of four major motherboard manufacturers (ASUS, ASRock, MSI, and Gigabyte) to sync up the motherboard and allow the special effects. Product capacity ranges from 8GB to 64GB and supports the 3600MHz mainstream frequency. It can also be increased to over 4000MHz based on the specifications of the IC. All memory products are provided with lifetime limited warranty services.
The hottest product for the second half of the year would be the DDR5. Patriot Memory is working closely with both Intel and AMD as well as major motherboard manufacturers in research and development. It supports the UASP high-speed mode which is rare for current flash drives. World's Fastest M.2 SSD Viper VP4300
Patriot Memory launched the Viper VP4300 series M.2 SSD this month for PCIe Gen 4 x 4, the current fastest transmission interface used for PCs. It is arguably the fastest M.2 SSD in the world and it upgraded consumer-grade M.2 SSD to 7400MB/s when it was launched. If RAID 0 is discounted, it the performance is astounding for one single SSD unit.
VP4300 capacity is available in 1TB/2TB. In addition to superior performance, the high-speed 3D TLC NAND was also key to its success. However, this configuration on 512GB SSD could not yield the desired performance due to the lack of CEs. Therefore, we only offer the product in two capacity configurations but we will continue to create new products as NAND technology advances.
Past M.2 SSD designs featured exclusively design aluminum heat shields. However, consumers have expressed preferences for detachable versions because certain motherboards are already equipped with M.2 heat shields, and they wish to maintain the original design of the motherboard. We heeded consumer requests and provide two types of heat shields for the VP4300. It is the world's first M.2 SSD that offers aluminum heat shields and graphene heat shields for customers to choose from.
