India became the last major Asian economy to launch 5G services, heralding huge demand for the 5G ecosystem and devices. Pegatron inaugurated its Indian mobile phone manufacturing facility, with iPhone production in India expected to rise.

According to a statement from the Press Information Bureau of India, India's prime minister Narendra Modi launched 5G services when attending the Indian Mobile Congress in New Delhi.

According to a statement from the Press Information Bureau of India, Pegatron inaugurated its new mobile phone manufacturing facility in an industrial park in Chengalpattu near Chennai on September 30, and Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, India's union minister of state for electronics and information technology, attended the event.

Adani to invest US$100 billion in 10 years

According to Reuters, Tata has launched the Tiago EV, which has four variants, including XE, XT, XZ, and XZ Tech Lux, and has an ex-showroom price between INR849,000-1,179,000 (US$10,426-14,478). Tiago EV is the cheapest E4W, followed by Tata's electric version of Tigor, which starts at a little less than US$15,000.

Ericsson to scale up manufacturing 5G gear in India

According to The Economic Times, Nitin Bansal, head of Ericsson India and head of Network Solutions, Southeast Asia, Ocean and India, said the company is scaling up production capability in Pune with Jabil to meet the domestic and export demand.

Dizo partners with Optiemus for manufacturing consumer electronics

According to The Economic Times, India-based wearable brand Dizo has partnered with Optiemus Electronics for manufacturing smartwatch and audio wearables in Noida, indicating India's growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
