Digitimes Research: LG Display expanding AMOLED capacity
LG Display has decided to invest KRW10 trillion (US$8.63 billion) over the next three years to expand its AMOLED production capacity, mainly to set up P10 factory which can house more than six AMOLED production lines, according to Digitimes Research

Digitimes Research: IBM, Cisco, ARM adopt other IoT protocols instead of LTE-MTC
Since LTE-MTC (machine type communications) standards in 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) R12 ( release 12) do not completely meet demands for IoT (the Internet of Things) applications, IBM and Cisco Systems have adopted LoRaWAN (long range wide area network) protocols developed by LoRa Alliance while ARM has chosen Weightless standards specified by Weightless SIG (special interest group) in their efforts to boost public IoT applications, according to Digitimes Research

Digitimes Research: Latin America sees slow 4G development
