Simplo teams up with China-based BYD to woo Dell battery orders

Taiwan-based lithium-battery maker Simplo Technology is cooperating with China-based battery cell producer BYD Company in an effort to secure new orders from Dell for its value notebook-use lithium-ion battery packs, according to market sources.
