Top-level domains in Taiwan to support Chinese characters from 1Q09

The Chinese characters spelling Taiwan (.台灣) will be available for use in top-level Internet domain names starting from the first quarter of 2009, according to the government-sponsored Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC).
