China market: MediaTek accounts for over 50% of smartphone solution market

MediaTek shipped over 65 million smartphone solutions, including its dual-core MT6572 and quad-core MT6589, to China in the third quarter of 2013, accounting for over 50% of market share in the segment, according to industry observers.
