Noticeable earthquakes hit Taiwan in the early morning of April 23. Especially at 8:04 a.m., a Richter scale 5.8 earthquake occurred again off Hualian.

TSMC stated that several earthquakes occurred in Taiwan starting in the early morning, none of which met the criteria for external evacuation. According to TSMC's internal procedures, a small number of cleanroom staff were immediately evacuated as a precaution to ensure safety. They have since returned to work. The factory operations and safety systems are all normal, and all personnel are safe. Currently, no impact on operations is expected.
