During the 2007 Taipei Summit Asia-Pacific WiMAX Conference & Exhibition which took place from May 14-15 in Taipei, several buses with advertising logos were cruising along roads surrounding the location of the event.

More than merely advertising, these buses allowed passengers to experience WiMAX's capabilities of high-speed multimedia communications under fast moving conditions, with various applications under trial including audio/video streaming and remote medical care.
