XtremeMac has introduced the Micromemo, which turns the iPod nano into a pocket-size digital voice recorder to capture interviews, meetings, lectures and other audio content.
Its flexible and detachable mic let the user capture sounds from any direction, and there is a built-in speaker for playing back recordings.
The Micromemo is fully integrated into iPod nano's menu. Recording time is displayed on the iPod nano screen in real-time, and an illuminated recording status indicator lets the user know if the recorder is on.
