Sales up for motherboard players for September 2009 Oct 12, 16:58 First-tier motherboard players Asustek Computer, Pegatron Technology, Micro-Star International (MSI), Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) and Gigabyte Technology have all announced on-month revenue increases for September. However, looking at their sales totals for the first nine months of this year, most motherboard players' totals are down about 20% from the same period last year, with Gigabyte and Pegatron being the only two makers whose revenues are within 10% of last year's totals.
