Silicon Motion 3Q09 sales up 14% sequentially with narrower loss Oct 30, 15:22 Silicon Motion Technology, a fabless design house specializing in low-power IC solutions for consumer electronics devices, has announced net sales for the third quarter of 2009 increased 14% on quarter to US$23.1 million. Silicon Motion announces 3Q results Nov 3, 11:51 Silicon Motion Technology has announced financial results for third-quarter 2008. Third-quarter net sales decreased 7% sequentially to US$45 million. GAAP net income increased 313% sequentially to US$8.1 million, or US$0.26 per diluted ADS, compared to US$0.06 per diluted ADS in the second quarter of 2008. Non-GAAP net income, which excludes stock-based compensation, acquisition-related charges, foreign exchange gains or losses, and one-time items, decreased 1% sequentially to US$8.7 million, or US$0.27 per diluted ADS, compared to US$0.26 per diluted ADS in the second quarter of 2008.
