SMIC: Capacity expansion on schedule

At a press conference on September 18, China-based foundry Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) denied rumors that it has delayed capacity expansion at its 8-inch Fabs 1 and 2 in Shanghai and 12-inch Fab 4 in Beijing.
