Brief: Far EasTone to complete acquisition of KG on January 1

Far EasTone Telecommunications said it will complete its acquisition of KG Telecom and raise an additional NT$8 billion on January 1, according to a filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) yesterday.
