Ferro plans to boost MLCC powder capacity by 22%; PDC plans 50%

US-based Ferro, the world’s largest supplier of materials for MLCCs (multi-layer chip capacitors), will begin in April to boost its monthly powder capacity to 220 tons from 180 tons currently, according to sources.
