iSuppli: Semiconductor growth to drop below 2% in 2006

Growth in the global semiconductor industry will drop to 1.7% in 2006 as escalating capacity at foundries is able to absorb strong demand in the upcoming years, according to iSuppli executive vice president Greg Sheppard at a recent forum in Taiwan.
