Chunghwa Telecom estimates a net EPS of NT$4.79 for 2005

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) on January 26 reported an estimated net profit of NT$46.2 billion (US$1.4 billion) for last year, translating into a net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$4.79. Net profit exceeded the 2005 goal of NT$42.3 billion by 9.1%.
