LCD monitor shipments from Taiwan surged to 27.5 million units in the third quarter of 2006, up 20% sequentially and 39% on year. Although the 17-inch segment remained the most popular size among all segments, the 19-inch segment saw shipments increase 33% sequentially in the third quarter, more than the 14% from the 17-inch segment.Table of contents
