TSIA: Taiwan IC industry grew 24.6% in 2006

Taiwan's IC industry grew 24.6% in 2006 to NT$1.39 trillion (US$41.98 billion), a growth higher than the worldwide semiconductor average of 8.9%, according to figures released by the Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association (TSIA).
