Navteq to benefit from Garmin dropping takeover of Tele Atlas, say Taiwan makers

Garmin's decision to withdraw a takeover offer for digital map provider Tele Atlas NV and instead extend its partnership with Tele Atlas rival Navteq, will benefit Navteq, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
