Taiwan market: Chunghwa Telecom net profits top NT$4 billion in January

Chuunghwa Telecom (CHT) on February 9 reported self-estimated net profit of NT$4.33 billion (US$130 million) for January 2009, translating into net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.37.
