Lextar to invest in LED chipmaker Lighthouse

Lextar, the LED subsidiary of LCD panel maker AU Optronics (AUO), has announced it will subscribe to the private placement by LED chipmaker Lighthouse Technology, which is seeking to raise NT$384 million (US$11.37 million) by issuing new shares.
