LED chip supplies to become tight in 2010, AUO CEO says

The supply of LED chips will become increasingly tight in 2010 due to the growing penetration of LED-backlit notebooks, TVs and monitors, according to LJ Chen, president and CEO of LCD panel maker AU Optronics (AUO).
