Epistar and Formosa Epitaxy land LED orders from Samsung

Taiwan-based LED chipmakers Epistar and Formosa Epitaxy have both recently signed contracts with Korea-based Samsung Electronics to supply LEDs from September 2009 through August 2010, according to industry sources.
