MediaTek posts strong sequential profit growth for 2Q12

MediaTek has announced net profits of NT$3.357 billion for the second quarter of 2012, up 34.3% sequentially and 0.9% on year. Second-quarter ESP stood at NT$2.95, compared to NT$2.19 in the previous quarter and NT$3.05 of a year earlier.
