Advantech to acquire POS maker AdvanPOS

To strengthen its smart service business, Taiwan-based intelligent system developer Advantech has announced it will spend NT$319 million (US$10.64 million) to acquire a 70.2% stake in Taiwan-based point-of-sale (POS) maker AdvanPOS Technology.
