LCD panel maker HannStar Display has decided to distribute a cash dividend per share of NT$0.50 for 2020.
HannStar posted consolidated revenues of NT$7.042 billion (US$250 million), gross margin of 37.53%, operating profit of NT$1.856 billion, net profit of NT$2.777 billion and net EPS of NT$0.91 for fourth-quarter 2020.
HannStar shipped 4.877 million 19-inch-equivalent panels at an ASP of US$51 in fourth-quarter 2020, with the volume increasing 5.1% sequentially. The shipments consisted of 87.73 million panels below 11 inches and 550,000 panels over 11 inches, plus about 10,000 monitors of its Hannspree own brand.
Of the fourth-quarter 2020 consolidated revenues, 6-inch and below smartphone-use panels accounted for 30%; 6.2- to 10.1-inch panels, 60%; and 11-inch and above panels, 10%.
For 2020, HannStar recorded consolidated revenues of NT$19.553 billion, gross margin of 24.75%, operating profit of NT$2.709 billion, net profit of NT$3.848 billion and net EPS of NT$1.25.
HannStar has reported consolidated revenues of NT$2.379 billion for February 2021, slipping 4.14% sequentially but soaring 135.23% on year.
In February, HannStar shipped 33.53 million panels of below 11 inches, growing 57.3% sequentially, 190,000 panels of over 11 inches and Hannspree LCD monitors, dropping 20% sequentially.
Consolidated revenues of NT$4.860 billion for January-February hiked 129.73% on year.
