Raja, a prolific inventor who loves good food but hardly ever cooks, discovered the reverse sear—a technique that ensures perfectly juicy and crispy food—after having a great meal with a chef friend. Intrigued by the challenge of automating the perfect meal, Raja's inventor brain kicked into gear: What if a device could sense temperature remotely and use 3D scanning to precisely determine the ideal cook time? What if food could be cooked uniformly like sous vide but faster, without vacuum bags?

Raja shared his idea with his close friend David, an engineer and entrepreneur. During the pandemic, David became committed to eating clean and healthy, following a whole-food diet. Despite sourcing high-quality proteins like chicken breasts and fish fillets, cooking them in a simple oven left them dry and flavorless. David immediately saw the potential in Raja's idea: a solution for people who want healthy, delicious food—without the time or hassle.

Raja and David decided to work together to build a company around the invention. Through testing, they solved one final challenge: steam ovens took too long to preheat to searing temperatures, drying out food. Raja's breakthrough was a double-walled design that slashed heating time, enabling immediate searing after a low-temperature cook in the same device.

And with that, Agari was born—a groundbreaking technology to make cooking effortless, reliable, and extraordinary.

WORLD'S FIRST

√ 3D Scanning Technology to adjust the cooking time down to the second based on food dimensions and initial temperature. Patent pending.

√ Low heat pressure cooking system. Cooks with pressure below the boiling point of water for fast, uniform low-temperature cooking like sous vide but in a fraction of the time and without the plastic bags. Builds pressure within a minute, and does not require waiting for water to boil.

√ Double-wall pressure design. The thin inner wall heats up in under a minute after the low-temperature cooking, reaching a searing temperature to achieve the perfect sear without drying out your food. Patent-pending.

√ Automatic Reverse Sear

√ Remote Temperature Sensing

PLAN

We plan to introduce the product at CES in Las Vegas In January 2025. We will be at booth 51519 In the food tech section in the Venetian.

Our Initial product will be on Kickstarter in April 2025 Followed by a commercial launch shortly after.
