Aeon Lighting Technology (ALT), a manufacturer of high power LED lighting products, and the government of Swaziland will jointly develop "Africa Green Silicon Valley", a project to improve the nation's carbon emissions and advance green energy technology.
Swaziland's Minister of Commerce recently led a delegation of business representations to meet with ALT CEO James Liang at the company's headquarters in Taiwan.
"Carbon footprint reduction is no longer just a slogan," said Liang during a presentation to the Swaziland delegation. "It is an action plan to create an ideal energy-saving environment, and through low energy consumption yet high power LED lighting technology, we can accelerate this development in the African region."
