Elpida to mass produce 4GB DDR3 modules in 1Q11

Elpida Memory has revealed plans to start mass producing its newly-developed 4GB DDR3 SO-DIMM, which is composed of 16 2Gb DDR3 chips built using 30nm-class process technology, in the first quarter of 2011. Sample shipments have already kicked off.
