Texas Instruments' (TI's) TXS0206 is a SD/MMC level shifter.
The translator's auto-direction circuitry simplifies board design by eliminating the need for customers to program a general purpose input/output (GPIO) on a processor for direction control and thereby reduces the number of required pins.
The TXS0206 eliminates the need for more than 10 external discrete components and reduce overall system cost in consumer electronics, such as mobile handsets, digital cameras and portable navigation devices.
It is available now in a 20-bump wafer chip-scale package (WCSP). Suggested resale pricing in 1000-unit quantities is US$0.99.
