Asustek Computer has launched its Android Wear-based smartwatch, the ZenWatch in Taiwan, priced at NT$5,990 (US$188).
The ZenWatch features Corning's Gorilla 3 glass and an AMOLED display. The smartwatch is able to connect to Android 4.3 or above smartphones to receive information such as social network messages, e-mails and weather forecast.
The smartwatch can show the connected smartphone's screen via the Remote Camera function for the user to remotely control the smartphone.
The smartwatch can also monitor the user's health status and upload related data to Asustek's cloud computing storage.
