Acrosser Technology, an industrial computer designer and manufacturer, has announced the release of its latest additions to the family of 3.5-inch embedded SBC (single board computer) - the AR-B5250, AR-B5250CM6C and AR-B5250CM1GZC.
The products will be featured at the company's booth (Nangang Exhibition Hall, M1213a) at Computex Taipei 2009.
The embedded SBC AR-B5250 incorporates an Intel socket, compatible with Intel Pentium M and Celeron M processors with a FSB of 400MHz. The AR-B5250CM1GZC utilizes an on-board Celeron M 1GHz CPU and the AR-B5250CM6C has an on-board Celeron M 600MHz. All three versions employ a fanless design.
The AR-B5250 family includes one SO-DIMM socket for a maximum of 1GB system memory. It features two Giga LAN (Intel 82574L) ports and an Intel 910GMLE chipset and built-in integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 900.
AR-B5250 has several input/output ports, such as: dual 18-bit LVDS and VGA, supporting dual display; along with one SATA and one Compact Flash slot for multiple storage options. It also features six USB 2.0 ports, eight GPIO, stereo audio and four COM (one RS422/485 selectable) ports.
Operating system support for Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE and Linux allows flexibility, according to the company. Hardware monitoring function helps the maintenance operator to check the CPU and system temperature to prevent system malfunction due to bad system heat dissipation.
As a pre-configured and tested SBC, the AR-B5250 family of products allows application developers to focus on their software development and system implementation without having to deal with hardware design and system implementation, the company said.
AR-B5250 v2.0 comes with DVI functionality and is designed for digital signage applications. It supports dual display combinations such as VGA+DVI. It has a built-in DVI chipset on board.
