Intel takes part in 'Big Data Mining, Advanced Business Intelligence' panel discussion at e21FORUM

At the 2012 e21FORUM, Mr. Thomas M. Kilroy, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Intel Sales and Marketing Group, will describe how the computing industry has evolved past bits and bytes to focus on enabling the consistent, secure and engaging experiences that adapt to the users via platforms such as smartphones, tablets and Ultrabook devices. In addition, a number of distinguished guests will also speak at the panel discussion, including Mr. Wei-Ling Liu (Mr. 6); Mr. Eddy Lin, executive of IBM Taiwan's Software Group; Jimmy Ku, Sales Director of Business Solutions SAP Taiwan; and Dr. Grace Lin, Vice President and Director General of Advanced Research Institute at the Institute for Information Industry. On the day of the event, e21FORUM will be participating in this annual technology event.

Thomas M. Kilroy, this year's keynote speaker, will draw on his rich experiences and talk about the evolution of Intel's partners in Taiwan and in the global computing industry. Dr. Grace Lin, Vice President and Director General of the III Advanced Research Institute, who has worked in the industry, government and academia, will be proposing commercially viable solutions based on her professional views on supply chain management, business analysis and optimization, as well as industrial transformation. These panelists will also be discussing how brands-the core of commercial progress-can utilize the power of social networking and the Internet as a means for businesses to develop a social relationship with consumers. We will also be exploring how rapidly evolving digital tools for data analysis, database administration and

analysis tools can be employed to determine consumers' requirements and associated trends, so that brand values can be delivered to customers and the general public in their original forms regardless of the tools used.
