Global 1Q16 semiconductor equipment billings fall 13%, says SEMI

Worldwide semiconductor manufacturing equipment billings reached US$8.3 billion in the first quarter of 2016, according to SEMI. The billings figure is 3% higher than the prior quarter, but 13% lower than the same quarter a year ago.
