LSI Logic outsourcing 50% of DSP production to TSMC

LSI Logic is outsourcing 50% of its DSPs (digital still processors) to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), according to Tuan Dao, vice president of the company’s DSP Products Division.
