Hewlett-Packard (HP) on July 3 debuted its Color LaserJet (CLJ) 1600 for immediate launch in the Taiwan market at a recommended retail price of NT$9,999 (US$309), so far the lowest price for a color laser printer in Taiwan.
The entry-level CLJ 1600 color laser printer features a print speed of 8 ppm (pages per minute) and a resolution of 600x600 dpi for black and white and color printing, a monthly duty cycle of 20,000 pages, 16MB of memory and HP-developed In-Line technology, which features near-zero paper jam and low noise.
