AU Optronics (AUO) successfully turns on its first 42-inch LCD TV panel produced at its 7.5th generation (7.5G)TFT and color filter (CF) production facility, located at the Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP).
With the first installation of quipment at AUO's first 7.5G clean room on February 16 2006, AUO spent only an additional 166 days to produce its first 7.5G product –a 42-inch LCD TV panel, on July 31, 2006.
