Taiwan-based Delta Electronics recently announced that it has developed energy-saving LED backlight units (BLUs), which will be demonstrated at the ongoing FPD International 2007 in Japan (October 24-26).
In addition to exhibiting LED-based BLUs for 32-, 40-, and 42-inch TVs, during the show, Delta is also demonstrating LED lighting for indoor use, which includes standing, reading and wall lamps, all based on the same technology.
