NEC Display Solutions of America has announced four new digital installation projectors, the NP3250, NP3250W, NP2250 and NP1250.
The four new NEC NP series installation projectors are bright enough for most applications, displaying images up to 5,000 lumens, according to the company. With the stacking capability, users can enable up to four projectors to boost an image's brightness up to 20,000 lumens.
The projectors are equipped with Integrated Device Technology HQV processing, and the vertical and horizontal lens shift feature and optional quick-mount (bayonet style) lenses allow flexible projector placement to suit the needs of the room, creating a screen size from 40-inch to 500-inch.
The projectors also feature 1024x768 resolution (1280x800 resolution for NP3250W), 600:1 contrast ratio (500:1 for NP3250W), and power consumption of 490-watts for NP3250/NP3250W and 460-watts for NP1250/NP2250.
The NP3250, NP3250W, NP2250 and NP1250 will begin shipping in June 2009 with an estimated street price of US$3,999, US$3,999, US$3,499 and US$2,999, respectively, the comoany said.
