Asustek Computer has unveiled its home service robot Zenbo at Computex 2016.
The Zenbo is priced at US$599 and Asustek is aiming to launch the robot at the end of September, at the earliest or the end of November, at the latest, to catch the year-end holiday sales.
Asustek chairman Jonney Shih pointed out that the Zenbo is able provide assistance and entertainment to family members. The robot can move, listen to commands and use its built-in camera to check on family members' statuses.
