Alibaba and Hewlett-Packard (HP) have announced HP YunOS Book 10 G1 2-in-1 device featuring YunOS operating system developed by Alibaba. The device, unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai 2017, will mainly target the education sector. The HP YunOS Book 10 G1 features a 10.1-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera and Intel's Atom processor. The device will not be selling through the regular retail channel and but through partnership with education units. Currently, Alibaba has partnered with 15 smart classroom software designers to create educational content for the device. The 2-in-1 device will become available in August in order to catch up with back-to-school season in September. The price for the product has not yet been announced.

Huawei has unveiled its wearable device, the Huawei Watch 2, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The watch will go on sale in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany and China in March 2017, priced starting EUR329 depending on the design and features being chosen. It will become available in additional countries including the US, the UK, Russia and Australia from April. The Huawei Watch 2 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and has independent connectivity, allowing users to send messages or make calls independently from a mobile phone. Featuring support for cellular networks and running on the new Android Wear 2.0 ensures connectivity for both Android and iOS users.

Huawei has unveiled the P10 and P10 Plus smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2017, equipping P10 with Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 and the P10 Plus with Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro Edition. The cameras feature portraits with 3D facial detection, dynamic illumination, portrait enhancements, natural bokeh effect and Huawei's Hybrid Zoom as well as a front camera with a new, brighter sensor and larger aperture for self-portraits, according to the vendor. Both smartphones are powered by the Kirin 960 processor and feature a new user interface: EMUI 5.1. Kirin 960 is Huawei's latest high-performance SoC.
