Taiwan unemployment rate hits record at 6.07% in July

Taiwan had 663,000 jobless citizens in July 2009, equivalent to a record unemployment rate of 6.07%, according to statistics released by the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) on August 24.
