BOE unveils 8.5G LCD panel plant in Beijing

BOE Technology, a China-based TFT-LCD panel maker, on June 28 held an opening ceremony for its 8.5G plant in Beijing, China, with volume production to kick off in the third quarter of 2011, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
