Silicon Motion 3-bit per cell controller sales receive boost in 4Q11

Silicon Motion Technology saw sales of 3-bit per cell (TLC) NAND flash controllers grow substantially to account for almost 50% of its overall controller revenues in the fourth quarter of 2011, according to the company.
