Taiwan-based semiconductor equipment maker Trusval Technology, which counts TSMC as one of its major clients, saw its revenue hit a record high of NT$586 million (US$19,6 million) in the second quarter of 2022.
Trusval's second-quarter revenues represented an impressive on-year growth of 39.83%, and its sales for the first half of the year also hit a new high reaching NT$41.122 billion, up 40.82% on year.
The record revenues for both periods were mainly driven by strong demand from leading semiconductor companies for their capacity expansions, the company said, noting that it has seen steady arrival of orders for its equipment and solutions, particularly green manufacturing systems.
Trusval continued that constant upgrades in manufacturing processes, capacity efficiency and yield rates have driven demand for its gas-liquid dissolving machines, and strong client adherence has enabled it to sustain significant growth momentum.
Foundry and backend houses as well as memory makers are building new fabs or production lines in Taiwan, driving many upstream and downstream supply chain players to carry out capacity expansions, benefiting its system integration business, the company said.
The company is also actively promoting its green manufacturing solutions such as functional water supply systems and special waste liquid treatment systems for advanced processes, able to help clients meet ESG requirements.
Its waste liquids recycling lab in Chunan, northern Taiwan has been certified by the government and can recycle waste solvents into usable substances, which will bring new growth momentum for Trusval.
