Aethertek sets sights on Vietnam market and targets electronics manufacturing with total testing solutions

As for consumer electronics, servers, and automotive equipment that fall into the scope of Aethertek's business, Chen pointed out that out of these three areas, consumer electronic product testing currently offers the greatest potential in Vietnam. The company is therefore promoting the T800 and T1000 testing solutions targeted at the needs of different products and production lines in the local market.

Chen introduced the T800 as a total testing solution for consumer electronic products that satisfies all testing requirements from product design to mass production. Software, hardware, and mechanical design as well as interfaces with the factory production line are all integrated into the system as well. The T800 is suitable for smartwatches, smartphones, smart headphones, tablets, IoT devices, and network-communication product lines. It is particularly well-suited to the testing requirements of entry and mid-range consumer electronic products. The modular design of the system means it can be quickly re-configured for different testing requirements. CoreOne is a highly integrated primary module that contains the power supply, battery simulator, and common communication interfaces. Support for multi-DUT testing in parallel makes it suitable for R&D and mass production environments. Expansion modules include isolated power supply units, electrical loads, USBC-PD, sound spectrum analyzers, LCR measurement, and high-precision DMM for testing consumer electronic products.

Chen emphasized that cost vs. performance is where the T800 truly shines as it reduces testing costs for customers by over 50% as compared to legacy solutions. As a mature product that has been proven over nearly ten years in the market, the T800 is already widely used in Taiwan and China. It has also broken into the Vietnamese market already with several successful installations. System stability has already exceeded customer expectations so it will fully satisfy or even exceed all customer requirements. The southward migration of the electronics manufacturing industry means Aethertek is now working actively to promote this solution in Vietnam and other emerging markets.
