Osram Opto Semiconductors has launched two white versions of the Oslon LX LEDs.
The Oslon LX is available for two color spaces. The multi-white version covers 100% of the sRGB color space and has a typical light output of 75lm. The ultra-white version covers 80% of the sRGB color space and is a little brighter with a typical light output of 90lm.
Oslon LX is manufactured using the latest ThinGaN chip technology with chip level conversion and provides high optical efficiency. The lens is optimized for maximum light extraction. Its beam characteristic ensures a high injection efficiency of almost 80%, the company said.
Measuring just 3x3x1.6mm, the LED allows for side injection into light guides with a thickness of 2-4mm, the company added.
